Developments from IPVS 2024
We are pleased to share that Dr. Christian Lückstädt, Technical Director at ADDCON a part of Esseco Industrial,
presented his latest research at the 27th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress (IPVS 2024) in Leipzig, Germany.
This event attracted more than 2000 experts in porcine health and veterinary science from all around the globe.
Christian's poster, "Impact of an Agglomerate of Sodium Diformate and Monolaurate on the Reduction of PRRS Virus Load in Nursery Pigs," in cooperation with our Taiwanese partner, Bienen Ltd., demonstrates the efficacy of FORMI® 3G in reducing PRRS virus load. The study indicates that agglomerates of sodium diformate and glycerol monolaurate significantly inhibit the virus, improving pig health outcomes.
